Experience an evening with singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff as he shares the stories behind some of his most loved songs, his inspiration for writing, and upcoming projects. During this exclusive event, Nathaniel will talk with Alan Light, American music journalist, author, and the host of the daily music talk show "Debatable" on SiriusXM. Nathaniel will acoustically perform three of his favorite songs, including a song from his most recent album, And It’s Still Alright. Cardmembers will have the opportunity to ask Nathaniel questions (questions may be limited based on timing).

Cardmembers will receive a gift box containing a signed And It’s Still Alright LP, a signed custom event poster, a Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats sunset enamel pin, a Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats eagle bandana, a Meet Me at the Table cookbook, a bag of Boulder Canyon Kettle Chips, a Chocolove bar and a jar of Imperio salsa.

Growing up in rural Missouri, Nathaniel Rateliff got his early music education from his family and then moved to Denver at 19. His 2010 solo album, In Memory of Loss, propelled him to the forefront of Denver’s tight-knit folk scene, with The New York Times dubbing him “a local folk pop hero,” and launched his career as a touring musician. In 2013 Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats was born. The band’s self-titled debut album was a breakout success. Now certified Gold in the U.S., it has sold over a million records worldwide.

Last year, Nathaniel released his first solo album in seven years via Stax Records. And It’s Still Alright peaked at #3 on iTunes’ “Top Albums” chart, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Americana/Folk” chart, landed at #2 on their “Current Rock” chart and resided at #1 on the Americana Albums Chart for eight consecutive weeks. Nathaniel recently made his debut on "Saturday Night Live” performing his latest single “Redemption," which was written for and featured in the Apple Original film, Palmer, starring Justin Timberlake.

In 2018, Nathaniel launched a Denver-based foundation called The Marigold Project to support community and nonprofit organizations working on issues of economic and social justice. Nathaniel’s cookbook, Meet Me at the Table furthers the foundation's work by including profiles of food justice organizations. Proceeds from the cookbook will benefit these groups, working for a vibrant food system that seeks a revitalized vision of agriculture centering on the voices of people who get food to our plates.

Alan Light has been one of America’s leading music journalists and authors for more than twenty-five years. Currently, he is a frequent contributor to the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal and is the co-host of the daily music talk show “Debatable” and the monthly one-on-one interview series “In the Light” on SiriusXM.
