Join award-winning actor of both stage and screen, Nathan Lane, for an evening of storytelling from his celebrated career

Nathan Lane will join Cardmembers for this intimate evening to share his journey as an actor on stage, movies and television. Hear about his current projects and stories from his career, including his starring role in the classic film comedy The Birdcage alongside Robin Williams, and on stage, with Matthew Broderick in The Producers. Cardmembers will learn how he’s preparing for a return to the stage next year in a revival of Death of a Salesman taking on the iconic role of Willy Loman alongside Laurie Metcalf. Well-known Broadway personality Richard Ridge will moderate the evening including the Cardmember Q&A.  

Nathan Lane was most recently seen on Broadway in Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus. He also appeared in the revival of Angels in America, for which he won a 2018 Tony Award. He previously appeared on Broadway in the hit revival of The Front Page, which earned him Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations. He has won Tony Awards for The Producers and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and picked up additional nominations for Guys & Dolls, The Nance and The Front Page. On television, he had recurring roles in Modern Family and The Good Wife and appeared in The Blacklist and FX’s The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. His most recent television role was on Showtime’s Penny Dreadful: City of Los Angeles. Nathan Lane was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 2008. 

Nathan Lane serves as a Trustee for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the fundraising and grant-making arm of the Broadway community dedicated to helping men, women and children living with COVID-19, HIV/AIDS and other debilitating illnesses receive lifesaving medications, health care, nutritious meals, counseling and emergency financial assistance. Broadway Cares funds more than 450 social service organizations in all 50 states, Washington, DC and Puerto Rico, as well as The Actors Fund, which provides emergency assistance and support for the entertainment industry and performing arts.

Richard Ridge is the lead correspondent for Broadway World, one of the most popular theatre websites receiving over 8 million visitors every month. He is the host of “Backstage with Richard Ridge” which has long been the most popular outlet for Broadway stars and legends to talk about their careers.
