Named one of Zagat’s Most Anticipated Openings in 2018, Corrida located in downtown Boulder offers Basque-inspired Spanish cuisine with a focus on wood-fired steak and seafood served individually plated and family style. Inspired by his trip to Barcelona, Bryan Dayton, restaurateur, sommelier and mixologist opened Corrida with Chef Amos Watts earlier this year. The name Corrida is the Spanish name for “bull fight.”
Set against the panoramic views of the Flatirons, the evening will begin outdoors on the patio (weather permitting) with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception featuring a Spanish inspired gin and tonic table side bar and Spanish wines. Guests will then step inside and be seated for a four-course specially curated seasonal dinner where Bryan Dayton and Chef Watts will share their culinary journeys.
Having spent almost two decades honing his craft and culinary style in kitchens across the country, family eventually led Amos Watts to Denver, and in 2013, he was invited to assist in the opening of Acorn in Denver alongside Chef Steven Redzikowski. It was there that he met Bryan Dayton – his now partner at Corrida.
